What do you like best about Carepatron?

Many of the other platforms I researched for the business I work for had too many features, too much of a learning curve, were not integratable to our current workflow and tools, and definitely too costly. I stumbled on Carepatron and tried it out with dummy data, and I was really surprised at how easy it was to get started, implement the proper fields for forms and client data, and see "profiles" for each client I added. It's not overly complicated, which is great for less technical savvy co-workers, but also integrates with external calendars (one-way) to make appointment booking easier while filling out a client's details in their profile. There are additional features that I don't think we will need to use at the moment, but knowing that the ability to generate invoices and setup billing is something that could be valuable for us in the future.

Second to the vast amount of resources and templates available to help people get started on Carepatron, is the surprising cost for small teams. I couldn't believe that Carepatron had all of the features we needed for free, especially when compared to the costs of other similar web apps with similar features. What do you dislike about Carepatron?

I would have said that, the inability to export client data that is created in Carepatron made me hesistant. I didn't want the client information locked into the platform with no way of getting it out. I believe the latest update, as of August 19th or so, has implemented an export feature for client details. It's easier to find things to like about Carepatron than it is to find things to dislike. What problems is Carepatron solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is one place where I can update, add, reference, and modify important information regarding referrals we recieve, without having to leave the app/website. Currently, I'm having to switch between 3-4 different windows just to get all the information I need to make an informed phone call with a client, followed by updating an additional 2-3 tools to follow up and update information so everyone is on the same page. I have not experienced many downsides to Axis care. One thing that is bothersome to me is that it seems to be flawed when tracking overages of time delivered to clients. The Spry team has been incredibly receptive and devoted to solving the major problems that we had with our previous EMR. Spry has been very receptive to our customization requests. However, sometimes the customizations take a few days and a few trials to perfect. We also had some minor hiccups with integrations such as scanning and faxing at first, but they were resolved quickly. Overall, any issues we've come across, Spry has been diligent in fixing. Spry's solving many problems unique to physical therapy as a specialty. Their billing dashboard is clean, simple, and easy to utilize. Billing rules improve our compliance with payer-specific reimbursement and compliance requirements. Their carry-forward feature in the documentation section makes charting a breeze. It's also easy to take documented exericse, add them to the patient's HEP, and assign them to the patient, which is improving our patients' compliance with their home exercises. Scheduling appts and creating charts is quick and easy. Their eligibilty checker pulls PT-specific benefits, decreasing the amount of time staff has to spend calling insurance companies directly to verify benefits. The software provides many areas for documentation, document storage, reporting, and billing features. Overall it is a very comprehensive database that is easy to work with, complies with state regulations for reporting. Therap works to stay informed on state and federal regulations to continue to comply. Therap's support team is professional and timely in responding to the needs of their customers. Training, webinars, user guides and other resources are provided for users. Therap is continually looking at ways to improve the software, either updating or adding to current modules or creating new modules. What do you like best about AlayaCare?

Scheduling in AlayaCare is great. The ability manage clients and their services is quite robust and solid, their customer support is also solid, although occasionally feeling dismissive. I wasn't around for implementation or integration with other systems, but that element seemed quite doable from what I hear from others. Using AlayaCare daily is a decent ecperience for me. What do you dislike about AlayaCare?

The recently introduced monthly updates from quarterly updates cause a lot of frustration as an admin. Often there are very minimal new relevant features for our organisation, but there are always new issues introduced that causes issues and annoyances for me and other users. Because it's monthly, I feel like I'm constantly playing catchup with update notes as well as the aformentioned issues that pop up.

I love the ease of the software. It does not take an unfamiliar user long to learn to navigate through the software with ease. I love the eval templates and the help that is provided when issues come up. The screens are easy to navitate and (typically) find what you are looking for. What do you dislike about Fusion Web Clinic?

1-I wish there was a way to sort through payments when paying independent contractors. 2-I would also like to see an option where its only 1 or 5 users - i typically pay for 5 when i only need two due to being on my own with a biller - its a great website but to have to pay so much for only needing two users is getting old. 3-Its also a slower response time on getting help. Used to be faster - and while i know you have grown your response time has lagged and that's not great for someone that pays so much and needs help quickly. 4-I do with that when you move a client to another date on calendar that its tracked and it counts with the # of visits used. 5- i wish that you could be notified of tracking info in a better way - its almost like you have to know what to look for in order to look rather than it be brought to your attention in case you forgot. Can't cancel the service. I've been using Practice fusion since 2016 and then they started charging $99 a month that I went to $149 a month then I was pressured into a subscription plan minimum one year because it would've been impossible to wrap up all the Practice notes and insurance claims within a few weeks.

The custom services and subscription package process is cumbersome and takes a lot of time to manage. There's got to be a better way! What problems is Raintree Systems solving and how is that benefiting you?

With our entire pediatric division on Raintree we are now able to align our processes and clinical requirements. As we configure features and document best practices within Raintree we can train all of operations and monitor the success of our direction. Utilizing Raintree for RCM claims cleanup and processing has been extremely beneficial and we will now be realizing revenue improvements. Once staff is trained we are finding that Raintree is user-friendly and there is very little issues reported or need for ongoing support. Our internal ticket count is very low so we our able to focus on enhancement and feature implementation rather than support issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tebra (previously Kareo + PatientPop)?

The main thing for me is that every time I need help, someone actually answers the phone and they always help me figure ut what I needed and even go beyond that to give other pointers or help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tebra (previously Kareo + PatientPop)?

The only thing is I wish they had premade work or school note that prepopulated patients information to make it easier, as I do all through Word right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
